Beans & Brews Coffee House is now hiring full time and part time shift Leaders. We are searching for enthusiastic, motivated and responsible people that have a love for coffee and would enjoy learning more about the world of specialty coffee as well as basic management skills. The Shift Leader position is the entry-level management position at Beans & Brews. Shift Leaders are responsible for making sure the Coffee House is in compliance with Beans & Brews operational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead shifts by prioritizing tasks, delegating responsibilities, and keeping the team motivated
• Ensure the Coffee House meets Beans & Brews operational and quality standards
• Support barista duties, including drink preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean workspace
• Assist with training new team members and reinforcing company policies and procedures
• Learn and apply cash‑handling procedures, basic POS troubleshooting, and daily operational checklists
• Help create a positive, welcoming environment for guests and team members

Qualifications:

• Friendly, outgoing personality and a genuine enjoyment of working with people.
• Previous retail or customer service experience required.
• Prior shift lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods.
• Must obtain a Food Service Manager Certification before your first day.
