Beans & Brews is opening a new location in McKinney, Texas at Hardin & Wilmeth, and we are hiring Shift Leads for morning and afternoon shifts.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and responsible individuals who enjoy working with people and want to help lead a team in a fast‑paced specialty coffee environment.

You’ll work in a fun, fast‑paced, and professional setting while supporting high‑quality beverage preparation, great Guest service, and smooth store operations.

Part‑time positions are available, and full‑time may be possible based on discussion and store needs.

Pay

Shift Lead: $15.00 per hour plus tips

Higher pay may be available for exceptional experience or leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise baristas during assigned shifts
• Assist with shift oversight, task delegation, and maintaining store standards
• Deliver an exceptional Guest experience with every interaction
• Prepare all coffee and non‑coffee beverages using espresso machines, brewers, and other café equipment
• Prepare and serve food items, including breakfast sandwiches, burritos, pastries, and similar items
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Follow all recipes, standards, and operating procedures
• Perform cash‑handling, POS, and basic computer tasks
• Support daily store operations and work as part of a team

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality
• Enjoys working with the public
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Willing to learn specialty coffee skills and store procedures
• Must be willing to work weekend shifts as part of a rotating schedule
• Must be able to obtain and pass a Texas Food Handler Safety Training Certification (company will provide guidance)
• Leadership interest or experience preferred for Shift Lead roles
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for restocking and inventory tasks
